Achieving Peace Over Nerves
Here's an important question you've probably asked yourself: How do you get over that nervous rush of not knowing what the school year, or any new experience for that matter, will be like? Well, don't try to avoid the nerves. You need to acknowledge your nerves and emotions, too. That's what makes you human.
Peace will come after you've allowed yourself to survive the storm. Go into every new experience with an open mind, and focus on the positives. At the end of each new day, find three things that went well, and that you're grateful for. Imagine this new school year or new opportunity as a wonderful adventure. You can't possibly know what the future will hold, and that's what makes it so exciting!
