Sell Your Trademark Quality

Today's A-day. Time to take Action. If you plan on using the Internet to pursue a new romance, create your online profile. Even if you don't want to use the Internet as a mode of finding a new relationship, writing your own "personal ad" is a good exercise—even if no one else ever sees it. Start thinking, "What makes me unique? What movies do I like? What vacations have been my favorites? Why would I date me?"

Not sure where to start? Ask a close friend what he or she would say about you. Just don't fudge on the facts. Women tend to misrepresent their age and weight, just as men tend to misrepresent height and income. (Remember that, if you don't already know it.) If you describe yourself as someone you're not, you risk sabotaging a new relationship. The date who is going to be sitting across from you is going to feel disappointed, ripped off and may find you untrustworthy from the get-go. Not a good start.

Write a profile, make it truthful and, hopefully, get to know yourself in a brand-new light. You are quality and the right partner needs you.
