Many of us sleepwalk through our days at boring, uninspiring or frustrating jobs. Don't settle for the humdrum. It's time to find your dream job, girl! Let's go! And congratulate yourself on taking this important step!
As you search for your dream job, you must have an idea what kind of work will make you happy and meet your needs. So here are three questions to help you do that:
What things do you like to do?
How can you make money doing these things?
What qualities, skills and tools do you have to do these jobs?
Here's a helpful exercise to help you land your dream job: List 10 things that you love to do. Now, for each of those, list three ways you can make money doing those things. You now have 30 ways to make money doing what you love to do. That's not a bad starting point! Use this as a launching pad to finding your dream job, and don't get bogged down yet in the practicality of what you just wrote down. This is brainstorming time!
