Go to your high-school counselor and ask if there are companies that you can visit for a day or a week to see what an average day on the job is like.

The "National Job Shadow Coalition" has encouraged young people across the country since 1998 to explore their futures through career choices. The coalition includes America's Promise, Junior Achievement, the U.S. Department of Education, and the U.S. Department of Labor.
